current research or projects

Using decision models to manage weeds and specifically to develop a control strategy for willows (Salix cinerea) on the Bogong High Plains. I have established an experimental site at Falls Creek as part of the Nutrient Network (NutNet), a globally replicated experiment investigating the effects of resources and consumption on ecosystem processes. I am also assisting Dr Cindy Hauser to estimate detection rates of two hawkweed species (Hieracium aurantium and H. piloselloides) on the Bogong High Plains. These estimates will be used to develop a surveillance strategy aimed at detecting new populations.
