current research or projects
My research focuses on plant community assembly processes in alpine areas as a way of examining their sensitivity to climate change, invasion by non-native species, and disturbance. I also use mountains as natural experiments to ask questions about plant-plant interactions, niche conservatism and boundary dynamics.
