ANRO : Australian agriculture and natural resources online
ANRO is a unique database of published information on Australias land, water and vegetation resources. It contains descriptions, including titles, authors, publication details, abstract summaries, subject keywords and geocodes for approximately 40,000 documents. It has been continuously updated since 1982. It is subscription based.Australian Heritage Bibliography (formerly HERA)
The Australian Heritage Bibliography is a searchable bibliographic database. It includes a complete record of heritage information produced by the Commonwealth, the States and Territories, non-government organisations and universities. The Bibliography provides access to over 30 000 citations of books, technical reports, conference papers and journal articles about Australia's heritage places. The Commonwealth Governemnt's environment portfolio has made available a collection of searchable databases covering a wide range of environmental subject areas: general; atmosphere; biodiversity; human settlements; land resources; natural and cultural heritage.Register of the National Estate Database (RNEDB)
The Register is Australia's national list of cultural and natural heritage places. It is the only heritage list that covers the entire country and includes historic places, natural areas and places of importance to indigenous people. There are some 12000 places in the Register. It is searchable.

Searchable databases about heritage, museums and galleries around the world. The contributors to the databases are from major organisations, institutions and agencies in the field of heritage conservation. It is subscription based. Available in English and French.Environet at Simmons College Boston
EnviroNet is a network of teachers, scientists, environmental educators and others who utilize telecommunications to enhance environmental science education. EnviroNet began in 1992 as a Teacher Enhancement Project funded by the National Science Foundation and sponsored by Simmons College in Boston.ICESS/EOS Snow Hydrology Database
The Database is being developed by the Snow Hydrology Group of the Institute for Computation Earth System Science (ICESS) at the University of California, Santa Barbara and is being funded by NASA's Earth Observing System (EOS). The database supports EOS' Interdisciplinary Science Investigation titled "Hydrology, Hydrochemical Modeling, and Remote Sensing in Seasonally Snow-covered Drainage Basins." The Database currently contains information collected in California's Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in conjunction with NASA's April 1994 SIR-C Space Shuttle mission. SPRILIB is produced by the Library of the Scott Polar Research Institute of the University of Cambridge together with the World Data Centre for Glaciology. The database covers the literature of all subjects relating to the Arctic and Antarctic published in a wide range of languages. It also offers comprehensive coverage for all aspects of snow and ice throughout the world. In addition to records for books, chapters, conference proceedings and papers, government and other reports, SPRILIB includes records for articles identified through the regular scanning of over 1000 periodicals.
