Legislation
Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII)
The Australasian Legal Information Institute or AustLII, provides one of the largest sources to Australian legal materials on the Internet free of charge. It is operated jointly by the Faculties of Law at the University of Technology, Sydney and the University of New South Wales. AustLII publishes public legal information: that is, primary legal materials (legislation, treaties and decisions of courts and tribunals); and secondary legal materials created by public bodies for purposes of public access (law reform and royal commission reports etc). The collection contains full-text databases of most Australian decisions and legislation for Commonwealth and State levels.LawRunner: Internet Legal Resource Guide's Global Index
LawRunner Index is a directory of the LawRunner home pages for every nation in the world, including all islands and territories. The most significant benefit of the global pages of the LawRunner is that they allow an individual to limit a query of AltaVista's database to sites physically located within his or her respective jurisdiction. LawRunner's international homepages allow you to search only for sites with the suffixes of your particular homeland, e.g. *.nz, *.gov.au, *.co.uk, or *.org.ca.There are many dictionaries available on the Internet. Two which are specifically for law are the Lawgiver's Dictionary of Law and the WWLIA's plain english Law Dictionary.
